We will gladly perform a complimentary benefits check on your behalf to verify your insurance contribution. We guarantee that your first visit will never exceed more than our $77 New Patient Special regardless of your insurance coverage. B Physical Therapy does work with most insurance providers, but we aren’t bound by restrictive contracts that limit your care. Why? The answer is quite simple—we would not be able to provide the high level of care and individualized treatment that we do at the rates insurance companies currently pay for physical therapy treatment.
Therapists at clinics that accept these insurance rates are required to see 3–4 patients per hour and usually spend an average of 15 minutes of one-on-one time with each patient while non-licensed aides and technicians instruct patients in exercises. At B Physical Therapy, you spend the entire hour with your therapist so that you will heal faster in fewer visits.
While your first reaction may be that our method will cost you more money out-of-pocket, you will see below that our system will actually save you money while providing you with faster and better treatment.
Compare for Yourself
Typical: 18–24 visits at $50/each = $900–$1,200
B Physical Therapy: 4–8 visits at $140/each = $560–$1,120
Wouldn’t you like to be pain free in half the time? Why make 18–24 visits to a physical therapist when you can receive better results in 4-8 visits. Most people find it difficult to take an hour out of their day three days a week to go to treatments. And if your copay is higher, or you have a high deductible, the benefits of B Physical Therapy are even greater!
There’s no question—this is a better way!
Can I get reimbursed from my insurance company?
In most cases, the answer to this is YES! B Physical Therapy will actually submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. We do this because we know that dealing with insurance companies can be difficult, so we make the process easy for you. The amount you are reimbursed is dependent on your “Out-Of-Network Physical Therapy” benefits.
The rate for all treatments is $70 per half-hour session and $140 per hour-long session. Most patients will only require one session per week, although a few benefit from two sessions per week.
THE MATH IS IN YOUR FAVOR
At B Physical Therapy, we believe this is a better way to deliver the best possible care, as it will save you both time and money.
THE TYPICAL WAY
An average patient is asked to see a physical therapist three times per week. During those visits, you work with an actual physical therapist for 15 minutes each session—a total of 45 minutes. If your co-pay is $50 per visit, you’re paying $150 for 45 minutes of time with a therapist.
A typical patient is asked to see a physical therapist for a period of 6–8 weeks (18–24 visits). That means your $50 co-pay will cost you between $900–$1,200.
THE B PHYSICAL THERAPY WAY
The same patient at B Physical Therapy will typically only require one to two appointments per week. We sometimes see patients twice per week during the first one or two weeks to get your symptoms calmed down as soon as possible and then reduce to once per week. That same patient will spend the full 60 minutes with a physical therapist at a cost of $140.
Because of the extra time spent with a therapist each week, you will only require 4 weeks of therapy. That means the total cost to you for 4-6 sessions is only $560-840!
